Jackson County, MO – One Killed, One Injured in Crash Involving Motorcycle and Jeep on Hwy F
Jackson County, MO (November 20, 2025) – A man from Oak Grove was killed and another was injured on November 18 in a crash involving a motorcycle and a Jeep on Highway F in Jackson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 8:46 a.m. just south of J.W. Cummins Road.
Authorities say a 2023 Kawasaki MWS attempted to turn left onto southbound Highway F when it entered the path of a 2001 Jeep Compass. The Jeep struck the rear of the motorcycle, sending it off the right side of the road, where it hit a tree.
The driver of the Kawasaki, an 87-year-old man from Oak Grove, was not wearing safety equipment. He was taken by Sni Valley Fire to Centerpoint Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:39 a.m..
A 74-year-old man who was also on the motorcycle and not wearing safety gear was injured and transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Jeep, a 65-year-old Oak Grove man, was wearing a seat belt. He was treated at the scene and released.
