Sedalia, MO (January 30, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously injured on Thursday morning, January 29, after being struck by a pickup truck on Whitefield Road in Pettis County. The crash occurred shortly after midnight outside the city of Sedalia.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 12:05 a.m. A 2013 Ram 1500 was traveling eastbound on Whitefield Road when it struck a 32-year-old man who was walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian, identified as a Sedalia resident, suffered critical injuries in the crash. He was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency treatment. Authorities have not released additional details about his condition.
