St. Louis, MO – Five Injured After MetroBus Crashes Into Building at Goodfellow and Page

St. Louis, MO (December 15, 2025) – Emergency crews responded on Sunday, December 14, after a MetroBus was involved in a serious crash that sent the bus into a nearby building at the intersection of Goodfellow Boulevard and Page Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. and resulted in multiple injuries, prompting a large response from police, fire crews, and emergency medical services.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the crash began when a MetroBus and a passenger vehicle collided at the intersection. The impact caused the bus to veer off its path and strike a building along the roadway.

Five people were injured in the incident and were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been publicly disclosed at this time.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is continuing to investigate how the collision occurred.

Our thoughts are with those injured in this incident, and we hope all affected individuals make a full and timely recovery.

Bus Crashes in St. Louis

Crashes involving public transportation vehicles, such as MetroBus incidents, can lead to serious consequences due to the size and weight of buses and the number of passengers they often carry.

Intersections like Goodfellow and Page boulevards are busy corridors in north St. Louis, serving daily commuters, commercial traffic, and public transit routes. With multiple lanes, turning movements, and frequent traffic signal changes, these areas can become high-risk locations for collisions.

When a bus is involved in a crash with a smaller passenger vehicle, the force of impact can be significant. Injuries may range from minor cuts and bruises to more serious harm, such as head injuries, fractures, spinal trauma, or internal injuries. Passengers inside buses may also be injured if they are standing or not properly braced at the time of impact.

Additionally, secondary impacts, such as a bus striking a building or other fixed object, can further increase the severity of injuries and property damage.

Investigations into bus-related crashes typically involve reviewing traffic signal data, vehicle positions, damage patterns, surveillance or dashcam footage, and statements from drivers, passengers, and witnesses.

Mechanical factors, driver actions, visibility, and roadway design may all be examined to determine what led to the collision. Because public transit vehicles are often operated by government or regional agencies, claims arising from these crashes can involve additional legal considerations and shorter notice deadlines.

Victims injured in these types of incidents may face mounting medical bills, time away from work, and ongoing rehabilitation needs. Navigating insurance claims can be particularly challenging when multiple parties are involved, such as private drivers, transit authorities, and commercial insurers.

In these situations, having experienced legal guidance can help injured individuals understand their rights, preserve important evidence, and pursue fair compensation for medical expenses and other related losses.
