Caledonia, WI – Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Douglas Ave & Scott’s Way

Caledonia, WI (February 7, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed on Thursday, February 5, after being struck by a vehicle in Caledonia, near the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Scott’s Way.

Investigators said a Dodge minivan hit a man under circumstances that are still under police inquiry. Emergency units arrived and attempted life-saving measures at the scene. Despite those efforts, the pedestrian died at the location of the crash.

The victim was identified as a 57-year-old man from Burlington. The driver of the minivan was a 68-year-old man from Racine and was the only person inside the vehicle. He remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
