Dexter, MO – Woman Killed in Rear-End Crash with Dump Truck on US-60

Dexter, MO (November 14, 2025) – A 52-year-old woman tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle crash on November 12 just east of Dexter in Stoddard County.

The collision occurred around 8:00 a.m. on US-60, approximately two miles east of Dexter, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Authorities say the woman was driving a 2015 Cadillac ATS eastbound when she struck the rear of a 2013 Volvo dump truck, which was also heading east. The impact caused severe damage to the Cadillac, which had to be towed from the scene.

The driver of the Cadillac, a woman from Dexter, Missouri, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Stoddard Hospital. She was pronounced dead at 9:02 a.m. by doctors. Her name has not yet been released, pending family notification.

The driver of the dump truck, a 38-year-old man from Dexter, was not injured and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
