Lincoln Co., MO – Three Injured, Including Child, in Collision with 18-Wheeler on U.S. 61

‍Lincoln County, MO (February 4, 2026) – Three people were injured, including a young child, following a collision with a semi-truck on Monday evening, February 2. The accident occurred on the northbound lanes of U.S. 61.

According to the local police department, a 2026 Kia Sportage and an 18-wheeler were both traveling northbound when the incident took place. The semi-truck was reportedly in the left lane attempting to pass the Kia. As the unidentified truck driver merged back into the right lane, the semi struck the Kia.

The occupants of the Kia included a 33-year-old male driver, a 32-year-old female passenger, and a 7-year-old child. Emergency responders evaluated all three at the scene. The two adults sustained moderate injuries, while the 7-year-old child suffered non-life-threatening injuries. All victims were provided medical attention.
