What Compensation Can I Recover After a Hit-and-Run in Memphis?

After a Memphis hit-and-run accident, you may be able to seek compensation for losses related to injuries and other impacts. This can include both economic and non-economic damages tied to the crash, such as medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and more.

Compensation covers medical expenses such as emergency care, hospital stays, and follow-up treatment. It may also include lost income if injuries prevent someone from working for a period of time. In hit-and-run cases, uninsured motorist coverage may apply when the driver cannot be located.

Injury crashes can lead to a range of health issues. Some people experience pain, limited movement, or ongoing treatment needs after the accident. Medical records and bills can help show how the injuries relate to the crash and support a claim.

A car accident lawyer can help review the details of a hit-and-run and explain what compensation may be available. This may include looking at insurance policies, accident reports, and medical documentation. Legal guidance can help clarify how claims are handled under Tennessee law.
