Memphis, TN – Woman Hospitalized After Crash Involving MATA Bus

Memphis, TN (February 8, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision involving a Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) bus sent one woman to the hospital on Friday, February 6. Memphis Police Department officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Poplar Avenue and South Highland Street at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Authorities confirmed that one woman was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Her injuries were described as non-critical.
