Pineville, MO — 23-Year-Old Woman Fatally Injured in Crash on Business Rt US 71

Pineville, MO (March 7, 2026) — A two-vehicle collision on Business Route US 71 claimed the life of a 23-year-old woman on Thursday, March 5. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene, located near the intersection with Business US 71 in Pineville, at approximately 9:10 a.m.

Investigators determined that the crash occurred when a 2024 Ford Expedition was negotiating a left-hand turn onto Business Route US 71. As the Expedition turned, it struck a northbound 2004 Cadillac. A 23-year-old female occupant in the Cadillac suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Cadillac sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital, while the driver of the Expedition reported minor injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash.
