St. Louis Co., MO – Teenager Killed, Another Seriously Injured in Rollover Crash on I-64

St. Louis County, MO (February 16, 2026) – A devastating two-vehicle collision on Interstate 64 near Route 141 claimed the life of an 18-year-old woman and left a 17-year-old boy with serious injuries on Sunday, February 15. 

According to the official crash report, a 17-year-old male from Chesterfield was driving a 2018 Audi S4 westbound when the vehicle began to slide. The Audi overturned and struck a concrete median barrier before crossing into the eastbound lanes. Once in oncoming traffic, the Audi struck a 2019 Jeep Compass, skidded off the right side of the road, and collided with an embankment.

Tragically, the 18-year-old passenger in the Audi was pronounced dead at the scene. The 17-year-old driver was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with serious injuries. The driver of the Jeep, a 32-year-old woman from Wentzville, was reportedly uninjured. 

Investigators are currently looking into the causes of this accident.
