Excelsior Springs, MO – Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run on Fredericksburg Rd
Excelsior Springs, MO (November 14, 2025) – A woman was killed in a tragic hit-and-run crash on November 12 in Excelsior Springs, and police are still searching for the driver involved.
Emergency crews responded to the 1000 block of Fredericksburg Road around 6:00 p.m. after receiving a 911 call about a body found near the roadway.
When officers arrived, they discovered 35-year-old Mary Levingston of Kansas City, Missouri, dead at the scene. She was found on the shoulder of the road and appeared to have suffered fatal head trauma.
Investigators believe Levingston was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
At this time, police have not released a description of the vehicle or the driver. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Excelsior Springs Police Department.
