Our thoughts are with the injured driver, and we wish her a full recovery.

What Should You Do After a Truck Accident in Missouri?

After a truck accident in Missouri, the first priority is to seek medical care right away. Following instructions from emergency responders and getting evaluated at a hospital can help identify injuries early. Even if symptoms are not immediate, follow-up care may still be necessary.

Truck accidents can lead to significant injuries due to the size and weight of commercial vehicles. People may experience fractures, internal injuries, or ongoing pain that requires continued treatment. Medical records from these visits can help track recovery and provide important documentation.

It is also helpful to gather and keep records related to the crash. This can include medical bills, repair estimates, and any communication with insurance companies. Organized documentation may help answer questions that come up during the claims process.

After a crash involving a commercial vehicle, injured riders often have practical questions about medical bills, time away from work, and insurance coverage. Claims involving commercial trucks can be more complex than standard vehicle crashes because they may involve additional insurance policies and documentation. A truck accident attorney can help explain how these cases are typically handled and what information may be needed to move forward.
